Yesterday, took 3 bags of garden refuse to the Knox County dump.
Went over to Home Depot to purchase more mulch. They only had 4 2 ft3 bags of pine bark mini nuggets which we purchased.
Started to weed the second bulb bed.
Spread a 2 ft3 bag of pine bark mini nuggets between the Sunny Anniversary Glossy Abelia [Abelia x grandiflora] and the Coral Beauty Cotoneaster [Cotoneaster dammeri ‘Coral Beauty’] and spread another bag of pine bark mini nuggets behind the Autumn Fire Sedum [Sedum spectabile ‘Autumn Fire’ (Hylotelephium spectabile)].
The ground of the Rose bed became covered by many tiny weeds. Sharon and I spent the rest of today in the Rose bed to remove these weeds.

Took the wagon with the refuse from the pruning of the Deutzia Magician [Deutzia x hybrida ‘MAGICIEN’] and the Coral Beauty Cotoneaster [Cotoneaster dammeri ‘Coral Beauty’] and dumped the refuse in the ditch in Dave’s yard.
Since there were predictions of low temperatures in the 30’s, shut down the water into the backyard. Removed the backflow and the manifold used in distributing the water.
Weeded around the Sunny Anniversary Glossy Abelia [Abelia x grandiflora] and behind the Coral Beauty Cotoneaster.
Tied twine around 6 of the posts to provide some support of the Autumn Fire Sedum so I could walk around this plant without stepping on it.
Cleaned and weeded the original bed from the house up to and including around the Autumn Fire Sedum.
