Gardening Diary – March 23, 2021

 Went to Home Depot and bought 10 2 ft³ bags of pine bark mini-nugget mulch.

Hosta

Using a spade, was able to lift the Hosta plant that was in the Flowering Cherry bed.

Weeded this bed; the bed had a significant number of Violets and Bermuda Grass roots.

Carol Mackie Daphne

[Daphne x burkwoodii ‘Carol Mackie’]

Planted a Carol Mackie Daphne [Daphne x burkwoodii ‘Carol Mackie’] in the same place from which the Hosta was removed.

This plant was obtained from Kirby Nursery.
