Gardening Diary – July 16, 2021

 

Tier bed.

In the Tier bed, cut down some vines and other weeds including Pokeweeds [Phytolacca americana] and a Tulip Poplar [Liriodendron tulipifera]. Cut up branches and took the refuse to the ditch in Dave’s yard.

Repeating what we did yesterday, we filled the wagon with the last five bags of Pine bark mini nuggets mulch from the car and which we purchased last week from Home Depot. Moved the wagon to the front of the straw bale beds #1-4.
