Sharon pruned the Scarlet Storm Flowering Quince [Chaenomeles speciosa ‘Scarlet Storm’], the Pink Storm Flowering Quince [Chaenomeles speciosa ‘Pink Storm’] and the Orange Storm Flowering Quince [Chaenomeles speciosa ‘Orange Storm’] in the front porch bed.
Picked up the branches that were pruned off the Dappled Willow [Salix integra ‘Hakuro Nishiki’] yesterday and back in February and the branches from the pruning of the Cardinal Red Twig Dogwood [Cornus sericea ‘Cardinal’] also in February.
Weeded the area around the Dappled Willow up to the Cardinal Red Twig Dogwood.
Moved 2 wagonfuls of the weeds and branches from above over to Dave’s gulley.
Additional photographs (4) taken today:
When we rested on the porch, Sharon pushed the above caterpillar off her clothes.
